Q. What advantages do roll formed shapes provide,
compared to other methods of manufacturing?
A. Roll formed shapes are formed through a precise, progressive
bending and shaping operation that streamlines and simplifies
parts production. It reduces turn-around times and is compatible
with close tolerance requirements. Roll formed shapes also
provide a high strength-to-weight ratio, so thinner wall materials
can often be specified, and material costs minimized. Also,
production generates less scrap compared to other methods.
Q. How do roll formed shapes compare,
in terms of tolerances that can be achieved,
with other sheet processes?
A. Roll formed shapes maintain closer tolerances than
stamping or press brake forming.

roll formed shapes for the automotive, construction, furniture
and appliance industries. We specialize in shapes that are
highly uniform. Moheco’s lead times are generally substantially

A. We produce roll formed shapes in low and medium
carbon steels, galvanized steel, several stainless steel grades,
aluminum, copper, bronze, and brass. We also manufacture
using preplated metals.
Q. Do you prototype?
A. Yes, we frequently prototype roll formed shapes,
and can do this on a fast track basis if needed.
Q. What post-manufacturing services
do you provide?
A. We offer precision hole punching, slotting and notching
